Clarity of Place, Downs & St. Germain Research, Bannikin, Cuidadores de Destinos and Solimar International Join as New Preferred Partners

February 10, 2026—Destination Wayfinder announced the official launch of its Partner Program, a collaborative initiative that brings together consultants, advisors and associations in the travel and tourism industry to advance destination stewardship worldwide.

Built on a best-practice framework and proven technology platform, Destination Wayfinder helps destination organizations operationalize destination stewardship, transforming the concept into measurable, strategic impact. The new Partner Program will strengthen industry-wide collaboration toward a unified destination stewardship approach while empowering a global network of industry leaders to integrate Destination Wayfinder’s innovative destination management tool into their own service offerings.

“We’re excited to launch our new Partner Program, bringing together visionary leaders with a shared commitment to stewardship-driven tourism,” says Kristin Dunne, Vice President of Destination Wayfinder. “By putting our technology and global standards in the hands of world-class consultants and associations, we are enabling destinations to become true stewards of their place with clarity and confidence.”

A Path to Lasting Impact

The Partner Program arrives at a critical juncture for the travel and tourism industry, as destinations shift focus from high-volume marketing to long-term management and resident well-being. Through structured training, peer-to-peer networking and collaboration opportunities, the program provides a clear roadmap for partners to enhance strategic outcomes and advance destination stewardship for their clients and the industry at large.

The Partner Program features four distinct tiers:

  • Preferred Partners: Consultants who lead delivery and integrate Destination Wayfinder into client engagements.
  • Strategic Partners: Research institutions and organizations that advance stewardship through research, standards alignment and thought leadership.
  • Channel Partners: Associations that expand visibility and access to Destination Wayfinder across their member networks.
  • Referral Partners: Consultants and industry advocates who introduce Destination Wayfinder to potential clients through a referral model.

Welcoming New Partners

Destination Wayfinder is proud to announce a diverse cohort of five Preferred Partners who have recently joined the program, including Clarity of Place, Downs & St. Germain Research, Bannikin, Cuidadores de Destinos and Solimar International.

“Clarity of Place is excited to be a Preferred Partner because Destination Wayfinder embodies our core belief that strong destinations require alignment across the entire ‘place’ ecosystem—residents, visitors and placemaking partners working together. Wayfinder’s systematic, evidence-based and industry-backed approach transforms destination stewardship from concept to action, giving communities, and the destination organizations that serve them, the tools to implement initiatives that create real, lasting value for the community—not only as a destination, but as a place the destination’s stakeholders also call home,” says Tina Valdecanas, Principal at Clarity of Place.

“We are proud to partner with Destination Wayfinder because their framework aligns directly with how we help destinations think, plan and act more strategically. Destination Wayfinder brings structure and clarity to destination stewardship in a way that perfectly complements our research and strategy work. By combining their global standards with our data-driven insights, we’re helping destinations not just measure performance, but continuously improve it for the benefit of their communities and visitors alike,” says Erin Dinkel, Director of Research at Downs & St. Germain Research.

“Our team at Bannikin works to co-create value with client-partners in rural, remote and emerging destinations, and we are thrilled to partner with Destination Wayfinder. We see our partnership as an exciting opportunity to integrate the powerful platform into our services and work in collaboration to continue supporting and growing how destination stewardship is understood, adopted and activated,” says Caroline Morrow and Camilo Montoya-Guevara, Partners at Bannikin.

“We joined Destination Wayfinder because we still believe in people, in places, in the radical potential of tourism to make the world a kinder place. In Chile and across Latin America, DMOs are awakening. This is our moment to evolve. Wayfinder gives us language, rhythm, direction. A future worth walking toward,” says Marco Lucero, Co-Founder at Cuidadores de Destinos.

“Solimar International is thrilled to join the Destination Wayfinder Partner Program. For more than 20 years, we have helped destinations put sustainable tourism into practice, and we are proud of our role in helping establish the Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria. Wayfinder gives our partner destinations a practical way to benchmark their current stewardship capacity against GSTC-aligned best practices, then turn the strategies we build together into an actionable, trackable implementation plan. It bridges the gap between planning and performance, so destinations move faster from vision to results,” says Chris Seek, CEO at Solimar International.

These organizations join previously announced partners Destinations International, Coraggio Group and 4EVER Strategies.
