Scaling Impact for Nations, States & Regions
At Destination Wayfinder, we help tourism organizations turn concepts of stewardship into strategy and strategy into lasting impact. Our modern technology platform and standardized framework for destination stewardship enables destinations to measure, monitor and improve stewardship capability and strategic outcomes in alignment with global best practices set forth by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
About Wayfinder Enterprise
The Wayfinder Enterprise plan is designed to support nations, states and large regions in aligning destination stewardship and strategic planning across multiple communities. With Wayfinder Enterprise, gain access to an aggregated, filtered view of stewardship activities at regional and subregional levels.
How the Co-Op Model Works
Our co-op model helps destinations overseeing multiple jurisdictions to streamline stewardship efforts across multiple destinations, identify regional trends and opportunities, and enhance regional collaboration.
Cost Savings
By implementing Destination Wayfinder’s co-op model, you can save participating city and regional destination organizations up to 75% compared to what each destination would pay individually. This approach broadens access and encourages adoption, especially for smaller or resource-limited destinations.
The Enterprise plan can be implemented as a co-op model (with access covered for participating destinations) or a cost-share model (with opt-in participation).
Flexible Account Structure
The Enterprise account structure is highly adaptable with up to four layers of integration, enabling you to create individual sub-profiles at each layer.
- Layer 1: National, State or Provincial Tourism Organization
- Layer 2: Regional Destination Organizations
- Layer 3: Subregional or County-Level Destination Organizations
- Layer 4: Individual Cities or Towns within each Subregion
Each layer can have its own workspace within the platform while remaining connected to a unified planning framework. This structure supports shared data inputs, consistent planning formats and easy roll-up of insights for reporting and coordination.
Whether you’re managing a few large destination organizations or dozens of smaller partners, the system scales without limit—giving each organization the tools it needs while supporting statewide alignment.
Benefits for State & Regional Tourism Offices
- Standardize planning tools and processes across communities while allowing each destination to set its own goals.
- Identify trends, gaps and shared or unique priorities across different subregions, giving state or provincial offices a clearer view of where support, investment or coordination is needed.
- Improve data collection and reporting with consistent inputs that support strategic alignment and funding justification.
- Support regional collaboration through a shared platform that promotes alignment and avoids duplication.
- Maintain flexible, ongoing planning with a digital platform that evolves with user needs.
